Bio Fuel made from Turmeric

Bio Fuel made from Turmeric

From Agriculture by product to Alternative Fuel used as Furnace Oil replacement, creating a new pollution free fuel.

Turmeric is a plant that has a very long history of medicinal use, dating back nearly 4000 years. In Southeast Asia, turmeric is used not only as a component in religious ceremonies. Because of its brilliant yellow color, turmeric is also known as “Indian saffron.” Modern medicine has begun to recognize its importance, as indicated by the over 3000 publications dealing with turmeric that came out within the last 25 years.

Now Agricultural residue oil generated from turmeric extract plants in India were used in making fuel equal to furnace oil and other fuels.

These fuels are made economical, eco-friendly and release less or no pollution compared to regular fossil fuels.

Adaptation of the new fuel makes some efforts and awareness. These fuels have same specifications as furnace oil and are being used in many industries.

More agri waste to fuels are being done after the success of turmeric based biofuel. Hoping to see more biofuels (alternative fuels)and helping farmers to make additional revenue and make less waste.

Future of Alternative Fuels and Why we need them:

As we now see different plant based alternative fuels are being discovered and are being used in various applications, we are generating commerce and stopping dependency on fossil based pollution generating fuels.

More Alternatives will be introduced to the market in the coming years and the Govt. should take initiative and give permissions and guidance to new innovators.

Why we Need Alternative Fuels:

There is a risk of pollution which is causing global warming and other natural calamities due to our excess use and production of fossil fuel.

so the solution here is, why not make use of natural and waste generated from different products into useful biofuels and save the nature.

Let us hope and encourage new inventions that are helpful for the planet not just our pockets.
